My wife and I purchased a 2009 RX350 with 15,000 miles in Feb 2010. The car was advertised as being CPO. I just had the oil change and the Service Dept informed me that the rack and pinion was starting to go out. I told them the vehicle was CPO and it should be covered by the 3yr/100k warranty. I was contacted the next day and told there was no record of this warranty. I pulled up the listed internet ad for our vehicle and it clearly states it was CPO. The Finance Mgr contacted me and stated that when we purchased the vehicle we had not included the purchase of the $1000 CPO warranty. The problem is that the only warranty that was offered at financing were the extended warranty packages. We declined them since we had been told by the salesman that we already had the CPO warranty. The Finance Mgr then clarified that the $1000 CPO price had actually been deducted from the purchase price. Once again, I reviewed the sales contract and it doesnt show a $1000 deduction, only our down payment. I haven't called dealership back yet, however, it appears that the Finance Mgr's argument is that what I presumed was a negotiated reduction of $1200 from the purchase price was actually a removal of the CPO warranty(which we were never told). Has anyone had any similar issues like this? It appears to be a very deceptive sales practice if this is indeed what has occured.

Help! I am looking for an 2013 RX350 for my wife, just a standard no frills, no navigation needed RX350, since I am paying for it. Lucky her, right? It's a surprise for her job promotion. Where shall I get it? Names? Dealerships? I went to Cerritos delership last night, and they are overpriced, in my opinion. I am headed to Longo Lexus next. Is it true for the 2013 RX350, to use 87 octane? Is that recommended? Thank you, Lee

When I press a button on the hatch to close the hatch, it closes pretty slow... Then I have to verify that it is closed then lock on my remote control. I would like to auto lock when the hatch is closed. Is it possible? I decided to press the button for long time (2-3 seconds) then the light blinks then hatch closes, but it does not lock or do anything special. Is it doing something? Does it suppose to auto lock but mine is broken?

Just bought a 2013 RX350 with XM radio. I know XM and Sirius are now the same company but they don't use the same broadcast satellite. The XM satellite is lower in the sky and drops out frequently on my new RX due to trees. I have two other cars with Sirius satellite radio with no drop outs. My question is, on my other cars the satellite portion of the radio is a removable head unit, I can purchase an XM or Sirius head unit. Does the Lexus have this capability? I can't get an answer from my Lexus dealer. Does anyone have any information on the RX CD/DVD XM indash radio? I've owned the 2010 IS350c with XM and the same drop out problems. FYI, if you don't know which satellite receiver you have, you can tell by the ID code. XM is alpha-numeric for example; ABC123DE and Sirius is all numeric; 123456789.

My wife and I are planning a little road trip. The last one we went on, it was just us and we had plenty of room for our luggage. This time we are bringing some friends along and need the extra cargo space. I am looking for a cargo box to clip onto my cargo rails that came factory installed. The local dealership didn't have any and spending $500 online without knowing that it will fit is hard to do. Does anyone have a cargo box or recommend one that fits snuggly?
