Hello Everyone, I recently replaced my alternator on my 05 GX 470 as the original wasn't providing enough voltage. I went with an after market alternator due to a number of factors the main one being that it was available in at 8 p.m. and I needed to get the car fixed :-) Everything looks good after the install, the voltage is good and most things looks to be restored. However once I had installed the alternator I had to charge up the battery over night (I ran a check on the battery and it is in good condition, no damage, less than 6 mo old). Some of the electrical was acting funny. Electric windows didn't work, A/C wasnt coming on. I figured it would go away once the battery was charged. Next morning after the battery was charged everything was functioning except I cannot control the passenger right front or rear electric window from the drivers seat. It works from the passenger side but not from the drivers seat. Any thought on what could be causing this?

I had similar problems. Turned out Ihad the following problems. 1. Had low pressure in the spare tire (triggered the dash light) 2. The speed wheel sensor needed to be cleaned (took off the sensor and cleaned out the dirt and grime) 3. Codes needed to be reset After that I've had no issues with my tire pressure sensors. It ended up costing me $0. I think the dealers are very quick to replace those expensive sensors. /Robert
