I would like to remove the cross bars from the roof rack, anyone ever try?

Just purchased my 07 LX470 and love it, EXCEPT for the GPS!!! How annoying that I have to be stopped to use it!! I have been reading some posts about getting into the wiring for the GPS and changing it, cutting wires or adding some sort of device. Before I get into that I wondered if anyone had any insite on the 2007, I understand that the 2007 GPS is different than the older ones.

I would be very interested in the wiring diagram, if anyone knows where I might find or purchase one??? Thanks!

Has anyone here completely removed the roof rack from their LX470?

I was able to remove the entire roof rack assembly but now I need to cover the holes from where the bolts where at before. Are there any parts available to fill the holes?

I also noticed that you can put a cap on the black long plastic strip that runs on the side of the roof. Does anyone know where I can get that part? The Lexus dealer in my city does not carry it.
