Yes heat is a short term solution. I guess 56 straight days of temps in excess of 100 degrees even made the lcd sweat. lol.

I know this isnt the classified section, but theres nothin listed in there and no one looks there, plus these only fit the lx and the lc so i thought this would be an appropriate place to let people know they're for sale.

they're chrome. no damage or curb rash, but there is a little pitting in some of the wheel channels. three of the center caps have been replaced so i only have 1 wheel with a Lexus logo. the tires are 275 70 r16 and 3 out of 4 pass inspection, they all clear lincolns head on the penny test. but the 4th tire is bald and has uneven wear. they are michelin ltx's by the way, a fairly expensive tire.

Short term solution but it has worked. A/C works great even in constant 100 degreee weather. Still amazed this car is so well engineered. :D

Please tell me more about the transciever and how it affects the A/C fan when it dies, or does it not apply to my 91 LS 400?? Thanks, Bob

What Blake was referring to was that the HVAC fan speed can get "stuck" on low if the phone ECU or a related component fails. On the dealer installed Lexus phone systems, the HVAC fan speed automatically went to low when a phone call was in progress.

I just bought m first Lexus ever and I am really happy with it. It is a 1993 with 210,000 miles on it. It has the usual issues, blacked out lcd on the climate control and clock, speedometer and tachometer needles that work intermittenly. The cd player gives an err message when I tried it. Nothing major.

I wanted to know if there is any way to use the built in mobile phone wiring with a current cell phone. Thanks for an awesome forum.
