Yes heat is a short term solution. I guess 56 straight days of temps in excess of 100 degrees even made the lcd sweat. lol. -

How hot is it in Texas? So hot that the numbers on my lcd for time and temp can be seen!!! They work famously. Short term solution but it has worked. A/C works great even in constant 100 degreee weather. Still amazed this car is so well engineered. :D

What Blake was referring to was that the HVAC fan speed can get "stuck" on low if the phone ECU or a related component fails. On the dealer installed Lexus phone systems, the HVAC fan speed automatically went to low when a phone call was in progress. Thanks to you all. I am now on the hunt for a Parrot (Kit).

I just bought m first Lexus ever and I am really happy with it. It is a 1993 with 210,000 miles on it. It has the usual issues, blacked out lcd on the climate control and clock, speedometer and tachometer needles that work intermittenly. The cd player gives an err message when I tried it. Nothing major. I wanted to know if there is any way to use the built in mobile phone wiring with a current cell phone. Thanks for an awesome forum.
