Thanks for the help... how ever I was able to go a cheaper route. I took the car to the local Toyota/Mercedes dealership and they were able to program the key (locks and all) for $35.00.

:cries: Hello, I am a new owner (2000 gs 300). The car came with one master transponder key. I went to lexus-parts.com and ordered a replacement key. They were able to cut it from the VIN. All I have to do is program the new key. I have found several sets of instructions but none have worked for me. I followed them and the security light would never stop blinking. Does anyone have any suggestions? I live over 100 miles from the nearest Lexus dealership and want to avoid the distance and extra cost. HELP!!!! Thanks. B)
