Just find out that my driver side wiper hits the other wiper when it goes to the bottom of the windshield. It makes a noise. Is there any way I could adjust the position of the wipers to avoid this? Thanks.

Thank you for the info - I was equally surprised to have this experience but at least now I understand why. The tires are ok and I thought the VSC should have dealt with it - am still waiting for the owner's manual. Thanks, everyone. I didn't lose the control of the car but just a little "delay" when taking off. Just like when you drive on a snowy road you have to pedal harder to make it move. So I guess this is normal for a Lexus.

Hi I bought this car from a friend. Everything runs well except there is a skid when speeding up from an intersection, especially during raining day or turning. I wonder whether this is normal or I have to check tires and transmission. Thanks.

How much did you pay for replacing the winshield in the subcontractor?

I want to know whether it is worthy of replacing it with a factory one made in Japan. I am living in Northern Virginia. I called the local glass shop and the manager said he could replace it with non-brand one for about $260 including everything. He said it is of the same quality as genuine one and the Lexus dealer will charge $900 for the winshield alone. Does it sound right? In addtion, he said it will take longer to replace the Lexus winshield but didn't mention the reason. Any idea? Thanks.
