  1. I remember reading about a couple people experiencing a similar issue either on this board or clublexus, do some searching and you might uncover it. Good luck Thanks. I checked Club Lexus, which had a few posts about sound problems with the Levinson system. I'll try to get it fixed first because it sounds great when it's working. But the problem is getting worse each day. I appreciate your assistance.
  2. Good advice. I will do that. I contacted Levinson and they said they need the Lexus dealer to check the head unit first. Thanks for your help.
  3. I am a new owner of a 2008 RX 400h that has the Mark Levinson sound system. It's a beautiful car and the stereo sounds great -- most of the time. Sometimes, however, the volume drops suddenly, almost like it's been muted. At first, I thought it was the Automatic Sound Level, but I turned off that feature and the problem has recurred. I'll be listening to music on the CD or radio at about the 25-30 level when the sound suddenly decreases dramatically. I have to turn up the sound levet to 45 or so to get it back to where it was. And then, sometimes, the sound returns to the previous level, giving me a big blast of sound that's uncomfortable and distracting. I wrote an email to Levinson, but have not yet heard back. Anyone out there have a similar problem? Or any ideas what it might be? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
