  1. Ummm, educate me a little there. I've got to dig out my subscription to that site with all the manuals. :) For giggles, With the car running in park and neutral, I pressed the button for AC a few times, with a few seconds in between. There was no change in engine noise. So, it seems safe, to assume that the compressor might be OK but a fuse or relay gone bad? I've been able to do a bit of work on it myself, so I'm no dummy. I just need to know where to look. My tools are limited regarding sophisticated meters and such, but I'm not afraid to use a breaker bar. :) Thanks again, folks. Tho, I'm starting to get used to driving with the windows down. Until the rains start again...
  2. Hello everyone. Please forgive me if this topic has indeed been covered then point me in the right direction. I've got a 2000 GS300 where the AC seems busted. My car was blowing warmer and warmer air to where it was all outside air blowing in. I've added more freon to the system and that seemed to have helped but only for a few days. Now it is actually cooler to drive with the windows down in over 95 degree weather. The serpentine belt was replaced a few months ago, and the compressor hook up is running as well. The fan blows as requested, too. I don't have enough info to see if there is a leak somewhere. Any help is greatly appreciated. If I can avoid going to the mechanic, all the better. Thanks much!
