i was doing some reading on satellite radio for this model and it seems like alot of people are not too happy with reception when going through overpass etc.
i ve seen few people mention that it cuts out right away even with a small overpass.
i dont own a lexus this is for my relative he asked me to see what are the options for that car.
anyone can give me some advice what would be the best way.
he wants it integrated in stock radio. with titles etc.
how do i deit title? i made a typo can mods correct it please
Sat radio not sat adio
theres no volume control or sound settings(bass,treble,bal/fad)
the guy that did a system instlal never gave the amp back so i tried to hook it up to a 4 channel untill he gets a new unit
his whole system got jacked recently
can anyone confirm that lexus 6cd changer factory radio has the sound processor in the amp not in the stereo?
i tried to put a factory radio back in the 2001 IS 300 with a 4 channel amp
i got the output from OEM radio line level but theres no volume or any audio controls.
it seems like they are actually in the amp itsself
can someone confirm that?
is there any way around it?
the wires are fine i can wire it up back to the amp
just didnt want the 6cd changer since itsa common issue
but the amp is missing thats why i wanted one with internal amp so i can just run speakers from it directly
does nav unit have internal amp?
im missing the amp also i had an aftermarket setup but it got jacked
the amp was bypassed
i wired up the oem cd with a 2 channel amp but it doesnt even have a internal volume control
i searched thru this form yesterday and on google but didnt find much
is there another toyota or lexus radio that will fit directly into IS300 dash besides one that came with it
maybe a single cd amplified radio?
