  1. comming from europe, I see bmw all over the place, the 3 serie is smooth and have superb handling, but with the options to choose for the car, it just dosent justify the price and keep in mind over here, atleast in scandinavia, it is unusual to lease cars, we gotta buy them instead. I always liked lexus alot. After having a cadillac sts, then cts and currently an srx, I decided to buy a slighty used is 250 from 2006 so my wife have the srx, I just love my is 250, one of the most wellbuild and reliable cars to get, which for me is crucial, since I gotta use my car pretty much everyday. Besides service is great and here you dont see a lexus that much, so thats a bonus too i think for me personally. The updated is model, looks like a real killer, so im just waiting to see what will happen with the is hybrid model when it comes out Henrik
  2. Hello there, greetings from Sweden, Im new to the forum and I just picked up a slighty used IS 250 06 model rwd. Anyway the other day when i took the car to the carwash and started to roll in, the power steering died completely. Theres no leaks, pulley seems to be fine, no warnings or anything, but its completely dead, i thought maybe a fuse is dead, but someone told me theres no fuse for the power steering. Anyway i did a search on the forum and someone did have the same problem, but never got back with what the problem was, I did however read somewhere that its a computer error most likely. Does anyone here have any problems with the power steering. I do have a recall for the steering and back brakes. can anyone fill me in here thank you Henrik
