hey guys, i recently moved to Taiwan and decided to ship my beloved 03' rx here too.. well the problem is that the GPS now displays what seems to be random symbols instead of chinese location names.. is there a way to solve this problem? the dealer here say that they have to rip out the whole gps unit top to bottom and it'll cost me a few grands worth.. i know the car was built in canada.. 03' rx330 model..please..help..

I am in a similar situation with you, my imported vehicle is a '06 RX330. Have you figured out a solution (other than replacing the unit) yet? I took the vehicle to a Taiwanese Lexus dealer in Nangang, Taipei, and was told that the US system cannot even read the DVD with Taiwanese map... Thanks.
