Hello James, I am in a similar situation with you, my imported vehicle is a '06 RX330. Have you figured out a solution (other than replacing the unit) yet? I took the vehicle to a Taiwanese Lexus dealer in Nangang, Taipei, and was told that the US system cannot even read the DVD with Taiwanese map... Thanks.
