  1. The touch screen on the navigation system in my 2004 LS 430 no longer works properly, since it seems that the screen calibration is off. For example, when I try to enter "C" for a street listing, a "D" will show up on the line where I am trying to input data. And I cannot simply "guess" that the alignment is off by one space. The only calibration mentioned in the owner's manual is for calibration of the GPS unit itself, not the touch screen. Is there any way to recalibrate the touch screen?
  2. How did you adjust the sound level on your XM radio? (I just had one installed and noticed that the sound level is higher than my other audio components.)
  3. WD-40 did the trick! Thanks for giving me that suggestion, since I would not have thought about it on my own.
  4. Thanks, I will try the lube solution when I get home from work today. And, yes, this is my first Lexus . . . and am enjoying it very much.
  5. I just purchased a 2004 LS 430. When I tried to adjust the outside mirrors, I could adjust the left side mirror but not the right side (and, yes, I flipped the rocker arm to the right side). Later, neither mirror could be adjusted. I have been told that it would cost about $1200 to replace each mirror, but it seems to me that it could be a switch problem (hopefully, a cheap solution) rather than a motor problem in the mirrors themselves. I reach the conclusion based on the fact that the adjustment worked intermittently . . . but now is completely dead. Any ideas?
