Service writer’s, like sales people, are on commission… Lexus, and other high line dealerships, hourly shop rates can exceed $100.00 per hour… Ask around, there are a number of good independent shops (that specialize in Japanese cars) with lower overhead that can do your work… The only time I take my car to Lexus is for warranty work, and they do an excellent job…
