Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and and new to Lexus. Hope you can help with the following: 1. Trunk lid is a bit heavy/hard to lift. It's pneumatic, I know, is yours like that too? 2. Do you leave your parking assist/sensor on all the time? Thanks

I see. I have not searched the forum but do I dare ask if you can upgrade to gen 5? My understanding is that the OS is build into the nav unit, so you'd have to replace the whole thing to get the new "black & blue" menu seen on the newer units. I also have an '06 with the 8.1 map disk (2008) and yes, I am stuck with the ugly res/menus. :(
