Ok, tried that and the dealer wants about 300.00 for the switch.

Hello, I have a 98 GS 300. The driver door switch that tells the car the door is open and turns on the lights etc.. Only works sometimes, I am sure it needs to be replaced since when is works is when the car is wet from rain. Any suggestions on where to buy the part?

My GS300 driver seat heater is not working. I've replaced the switch but it seems as the heating unit is not working. Is this a replaceable unit or repairable? Or, do I need to get a new seat as the unit is "built in" Thanks for your comments.

Have a 98 GS 300. Put in new battery cleaned terminals etc... prior to this attempted to start vehicle and just got a click like the starter was not engaging. Thought it was the battery. Before new battery, I cleaned the terminals and the starter engaged and did not disengage even when I took out the key. I disconnected the battery and put in a new battery. I hit the starter with a hammer and it worked. I took it to the dealer and they found nothing wrong. Since this, at intermittend times, it just clicks and after a few tries, the starter engages and it starts fine. My assumption is the starter is going. Any comments or suggestions?? Thanks in advance.
