  1. I was just wondeing if there was a way to track your car order or at least see what stage your car build is oin? I ordered a new IS250 (about 4 weeks ago) and the dealer said it would be about 10-12 weeks for delivery. I have heard on other car forums where people tracked their car build somehow so I was just wondering if Lexus did that. Thanks
  2. I had to order my '09 IS250 in order to get the Luxury package and the ML system. I had the dealer look nationwide and he said he coul dnot find one with those options and the color I wanted. He said it could take 10-12 weeks for build and delivery so the wait is on.
  3. Does anyone know how to check the status of the car build? I just pulled the trigger on a 2009 IS250 and wanted to see if there was a way I can check the status of the build rather than having the dealer do it for me. Thanks **Moved to the correct topic. Smooth 1
  4. New to forum: I will be trading in my paid off 2004 F-150 4x4 when I do the deal. I am ordering the car this weekend and the dealer guy said they will still deal, but don't plan on getting as good a deal as if I bought from existing stock (at least he was honest). 8-12 week estimated timeline. KBB says 9k for the truck, but given that I am putting 6-7k cash down, I am willing to part with it for 5k (too lazy to sale PP) so that would meet my goal of loan amount under 30k an payments more than comfortable. Reason for ordering: Cannot find one in the nation (according to dealer search) with the NAV/ML and and felt if I was going to get the car I might as well get what I really want on it. Good Forum Thanks 2009 IS250 Smokey Granite Mica with Sterling Acessory Packages LD: Luxury Plus Package PT: Premium Plus Package VN: Navigation with Mark Levinson Premium Audio Package Other Options Z2: Preferred Accessory Package 2 P7: Xm Satellite Radio LR: Rear Spoiler
  5. I thought about doing the used thing, but I found the certified prices to only be a couple of grand lower than the new one and I figured why wear someone else's underwear when I can have my own. I also ran into some issues because now the wife wants the Ecru (Tan for normal people) interior and they say Lexus does not make that for this "region". He said we would have to special order to get the IS250 in Ecru and if we did the sales wienie said we would have to pay MSRP. So we will probably just go for the Sterling (grey to you and me). I'll let you know what happens, but it looks like Sterling wins. the Nav is something she wants, but if I can get a Garmin for much, much less and it does a better job we may do that. PS.. How does the stereo sound? i am not looking at the Levinson, but it does come with 13 speakers so it can't sond that bad.
  6. I am also in the market for an IS250 (09) and was wondering about prices. The cost of the one I am wanting is MSRP 40,775, but invoice is much lower in the 36+k range. What kind of dealing can I expect? I am hoping to do no worse than 37k. Is that possible? :) Options: Luxury Plus Package Premium Package Navigation Preferred Accessory Package Rear Spoiler Thoughts??
