Finally have a definitive answer from the specialist at the dealer. The clock has to be set manualy (as I did) by the H & M buttons on the dash near the Nav screen. He doesn't know why Lexus put the Daylight savings in the setup as it doesn't function. End of story.

Yes it is annoying. I have a GE Alarm system that is on the old daylight time change and I thought I could get a software update, but no luck. I also have 2 LaCrosse Atomic wall clocks that they very nice and replaced because the chip was on the old system. They let me keep the old ones and now when the alarm and old LaCrosse clock move either forward or back before the "new" time change I get a 2 week warning! I will go to the dealer on Monday and see what they will say as the techs there are very nice and knowledgeable. I will post any new info that I get.

OK Thanks for the info, but why does Lexus put the daylight on/off in the setup menu? I'll also be checking the time over the next few weeks against my iphone 4s.

my 2011 es does not even keep accurate time...have to reset it my a minute every now and then That is disappointing that you have to adjust the time manually . My old LS430 was always accurate. Went back to the car and manually changed it. The manual is not clear if that is necessary.

Have a 2011 ES350 with Nav. Daylight time ended today and changed setting to daylight savings off several times. Always making sure I saved it. Went for a 5 mile drive and still the car is on Daylight. My wife has a 2011 RX350 and that changed right away. Anybody have any thoughts,before I take it to the dealer. Thanks
