Does it cost anything to replace the windshield or covered by the warranty?

Lexus covered ours under warranty. My happened as same and Lexus HQ offered 50/50 to replace the windshield even I am still under the 4 years/ 50,000 miles warranty. I need to pay $1065 out of my pocket with this defected windshield. Spoke to Lexus HQ USA and they refused to provide the inspection report of what cause the crack of windshield. They said the such report and documents are for internal use only and not able to provide to me. I will never buy a Lexus or Toyota anymore in the future. :angry:
