  1. Yes, I thought $5900 was more reasonable also. I may offer that and see what happens. I saw some posts on changing the timing belt and I think I could handle that. You mentioned the mileage. I just noticed your post below. 16-18 is pretty low. I think my wife's 3.5 ltr pathfinder gets 19-22. I really liked the gs300 we drove this weekend but that kind of mileage scares me a little. Thanks for the input.
  2. I've been offered a 2000 gs 300 with 210,000 miles for about $6900 I'm told the car has had all recommended service completed on time by Lexus which I will verify. Any feedback on the price, what to look for, what to avoid and what kinds of questions to ask? I've never owned a Lexus but have always admired the GS.
