1999 Gs 300 Ac Blower Issue

hi, did you find out what was wrong with your ac. i have a 1999 gs400 with the touch nav screen. i took it to a mechanic and he said i need a new ac control unit. i think it is something else. gonna take it for a second opinion. thank you -
i have a 1999 gs400 with a nav. touch screen with 92k. when i turn the ac on it blow very cold but after a few moment the ac slows down and stops and cuts off then comes back on about 30 seconds later. the mechanic said i need a new head unit(new touch screen). but my radio and nav system works and other functions work fine. my guess was to change the factory air relay. thank you for any advice.

i have a 1999 gs400 with 81k. i justed changed the air filter, pcv valve and the spark plugs. after driving the vehilce for about 10 miles the check engine light came on. is something i did or forgot to do. also is there a way i can reset the check engine light myself. thanks for any help you may give
