I am looking at buying a new Lexus RX350 in the next couple of weeks. I live in Memphis, TN. I have built the car in Lexus.com and here is the summary. I will not be financing the car either. Also, are there any options that I should look into, or not get? I currently have a 2003 Lexus RX300. It currently has 160k miles and it is in fair shape(driven by a woman). It was fully loaded at the time. What should I expect for trade in value? I changed it with a Denso. I'm pretty sure it's not the gas cap but I will check it again. But I will for sure pull the ECU fuse and see what that does. Thanks for the help!

Initially the Check engine, VSC, and Trac Control light was on. I went through and replaced the O2 sensor on the rear manifold, checked gas cap, and checked the vacuum hose behind the air box. Now everything should be good, All the lights went off when I reconnected the battery; but shortly after, the VSC and Trac Control light came back on. I have been told I need to hook a scanner up to it and do a step-by-step process to reset the lights. Does anyone know the process I need to go by. Or has anyone else had this problem?

Mine ended up being the rear O2 sensor. I replaced that and that took off the check engine light but the vsc and trac control light came back on. I have heard you have to go into the computer and reset them. Haven't had time to do it yet though.

That sounds about right. I found one at a junk yard for like 20 bucks. It wasn't to bad of a job, it just takes patience because the little plastic ears are easy to break. First thing I did was pull the glove compartment, but it has been so long ago since I did it I can't take you much passed that. It seems like I could get to it just by removing that though. I do however recomend replacing the cabin air filter while your in there. Mine was filthy! Hope this will help some.

A light just came on in the RX300. It says its a rear light, I checked them all and they all seem to be in good working order. Anything else it could be?

Thanks, I ended up going to the local junkyard and getting the motor, blower control, and some other motor that I haven't figure out what it is for yet for only $20. For anyone else doing this, you might want to replace your cabin filter also. I replaced mine at 102,000 and it was filthy! Thanks for the help.

I was using bosch but I took it back and replaced it with a denso. Come to find out, I replaced the wrong sensor I think. I replaced the front one(easiest to get to). Yesterday I put the old one back in the front manifold and the new denso in the rear manifold. After I hooked the battery back up the cheack engine light went off but the trac off and vsc light still come on says my girlfriend. Ill check it when I get back in this weekend and let yall know.

The motor on the valve that switches the air to defrost, panel, and etc. is going out and I am gonna need to replace it. I do not know what motor to replace though. I have a diagram of the a/c unit. I just need to know what the motor is called so i can replace it. Thanks guys

Sorry it took so long to reply. I did try the paper clip and it did not work. I was at the parts store the other day and had them scan it, the computer read O2 sensor on manifold. I I hust reolaced it but that didn't help it either. I had him clear the lights but they popped back up a couple minutes later. I don't know what to do now. It seems like I have tried everything. Any more help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks a lot rlh4310, I will try that asap. I put it on a computer and cleared it and it still came back on. I will try that today though.

I have a 2003 Lexus RX300, and the check engine light, VSC light, and Traction Control light is on. I have tried everything I can think of. The hose was off on the back of the air box, I put it on and put a good clamp on both ends. I put a new gas cap on. And I put a $200 O2 Sensor in and none of it worked. I am lossed now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The belt makes an awful squeal when I crank my car. I know it's the belt but I was wondering if anyone could help me narrow down which one it might be without messin with both of them. If I'm guessing right, one should be loose. I just put new belts on there this past weekend, and it was a pain!!! So I might not have got them tight enough. If someone could help me it would be great.

I have a 2003 Lexus RX300 and the VSC, Traction control, and check engine light have come on. It has been on for about 2 months. I tried putting a new gas cap on but the lights haven't gone off yet. Can someone help me out on this?
