  1. Seems like the flow chart is pointing to the accumulator. This would be the canister that holds the pressurized brake fluid until it is needed by the brake system. They can leak internally allowing the pressure to bleed down in a short time, in turn, causing the pump to run too often.

    I'm having the exact same symptoms with my '95 GS300. Is it possible to just disconnect the TRAC system and still operate the car safely? I have no idea how to replace the accumulator.

    I hope this helps out for you guys with the frist gen gs300! it hard to get help around here!!!

    27 - When power supply to step motor is stopped, sub-throttle valve does not reach its fully-open position

    44 - During TRAC control, NE signals are not input to the ECU

    45 - When idle switch is ON, main throttle position sensor signal is 1.5V or higher

    46 - Main throttle position sensor signal is 4.3V or higher, or main throttle position sensor signal is 0.2V or lower when idle switch is OFF

    47 - When idle switch is ON, sub-throttle position sensor signal is 1.45V or higher

  2. first of all im sorry if i ansulted anyone! the tranny was rebuilt in 2007 no need for the whole rebouilt think! thanks anyways for the advise! and the tranny drove super smouth no grinds miss shist down shifeted when i told it too! i replaced mouunts all the seals motor rear main seal the works car is driving fine so i finished and i wanted too tell everyone the out come! thanks everyone for your help and support and HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

    so you had your tranny rebuilt in 2007 and somehow you still spun a bearing.....sounds like they did a shotty job on the rebuild or your REALLY beating this car 2 death even more than some people i know who race theirs . tranny on the gs300 fairly stout till like 450+ hp......

  3. the tranny spunn the bearing on the oil pump and forsted the oil seal out! so i found all the parts for under 20 bucks bearing,oil seal,pump seal,filter, so i put the tranny togther and its going up in the morrning luckly the converter was fine it looks like someone changed it already and the bearing didnt hurt it! it looks funky its all white no name date or anything i also think my motor was swapped due to yellow paint on the flywheel! my brother says its a jap spec motor cause of all the funky stickers (chinese) sh-t i dont understand! i hit everyone on the comeback later on! wish me luck

    you might wanna check your gears while your in there and see if your missing a synchro or ne teeth off ne off them, y wouldn't you just replace the oil pump instead of sorta "rebuilding" it like you seem to be doing? if its a "jap spec motor" as you say it wont have Chinese writing on it......it might have Japanese writing on it but highly unlikely for it to be Chinese writing. that's kinda insulting too, don't you think.......especially to ne Asian people on here :censored:

  4. can i use a tranny out of an is300? this guy has two trannys for sale!

    1... 2jz-ge 5 speed e shift auto transmisions has low milage , only 23k 100 $

    2... 90k on it and has a toyomoto valvebody shiftkit.... asking 125 $

    will i be able to use any of these for my car? i have a 1993 gs300 and they are out of a is300! please get back too me if any one knows!

    ok i got under the car and had my brother turn on the car it takes about 30 secound then it start leakin from the drip hole on the bell housing dead in the middle of thr bell! ill send some pics as soon as i can!!

    im thinking the seal blow off or the tranny pump is gone in gonna start working on it so ill reply back as soon as i can!

    JUST TURNED ON THE CAR FOR TODAY TO HEAD OUT AND SMELLED TRANNY FLUID SO I TURNED OF THE CAR AND HAD A HUGE OIL SPILL ON MY DRIVE WAY! WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPEND I HOPE ITS THE T.CONVERTER SO I CAN REPLACE IT WITH A DRAGONFLY WITH BIGGER STALL!!! DO THESE GS300 HAVE ISSUSE LIKE THIS!

    WHAT I THINK HAPPENDS WAS I GOT TRASHED LAST NIGHT AND ON THE WAY HOME I DID ABOUT 4-5 360'S

  8. um u do know thats 699.00 a SET not for the whole car you use a set up front and a set in the rear. i got the front and rear SETS and installed for 1400 thats a great deal! i do i have a speaker on the dash that has never been hooked up since i bought the car. it shall be soon!

    real fuc-in cute stop actin stupid! and thanks for the advise about the air filter and tune up im working on it right now as we speek! that dam sc400 killed me with the tune up and extra stuff it was asking for but it helped out alot! i tell yo what it runs like a champ. i havent had any gs spank me at the light lmao true hp car does sick burnouts with killer posi marks its good for over 145mph runs all day long :chairshot:

  10. i changed all my rear brake lights but still have the dash light telling me i have an out bulb!

    do the lights on the rear left/right of the bumper turn on or are they reflectors????

    if they are lights how can i change them out they dont work! i looked in the trunk but couldnt get too them i looked under the car and no luck can some one help me out PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

  11. 30 bucks gives me 3/4 of a tank on the 93oct im down to have way and only put 50 miles

    i noticed on the high way at 60 mph im at 2200rpm 80/90 mph runs kill me on stock rims and tires im going for some 22" staggerd to see if it helps out with the milege/whores what is everyone else lookin at in mpg

  12. OK. Maybe only 2 of the items are related.

    Does your cigarette lighter work? That same fuse powers the AC panel. You may have a coin or something in the lighter socket causing your fuses to blow.

    As far as the brake lights and shifting, maybe the brake light switch is not working properly. I may be mistaken, but I thought the same switch controlled both the brake lights and the solenoid release for shifting out of park.

    to everyone going through it heres how!

    it turned out to be the fuses the seemed fine when i checked them with a test light right ! but the had a film of muck on the and the really didnt make good contact with each other i got some new fuses and scrached them to make a good conection! make them go in kinda rough fit! for good connection!

    i checked them with the test light and it fooled me so be aware take them out replace its a cheap and easy fixs and some where to start if your going through the same trouble i was ! thanks everyone and i hope it helps some one out!

  13. Be aware - this is just a guess. I have not messed with the wiring to the antenna yet, just replaced the mast. But as there seems to be a control box with a multitude of wires that are cnnected to it and the antenna, my guess would be that the three wires are +, - and signal. The + & - being the hot and cold of your 12VDC and the signal being the wire from the radio that tells it when to go up (or down).

    What are the colors on the wire insulation?

    bro i have no idea i looked around and found out for the relay is (yellow and red) (white and blue) and( pink and green ) !?!?!?! i checked them ran power and ground to all of the and no luck! it cant be that hard ! i checked if it still worked by runnin its own + & - too the motor and its still works great! i need to send it a signal when i turn on the tunner it it goes up and when i turn it off or cd on it goes down! how many people have after marget radios and there antenna still works?

  14. OK ...Obviously some folks change the stock head unit with something a little more "powerful"....which I managed ..... My problem is integrating the new head units single power antenna lead to run the 3 wire stock power antenna. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

  15. well this dam sc is being a pain in the a--! my a.c cluster stoped working and i looked and i looked i found the troubled area! the driver side kick panel with the fuse boxs is acting up so im askin if anyone heres gone through it befor and what they did to fixs it?

    plus my brake lights stoped workin too! i checked fuse blubs grounds what else can it be the car doesnt wanna shift out of park ether!

  16. I may be wrong here (and someone correct me if I am) but I don't think the 92 or 93 models had "fog lights".

    There were cornering lights that only lit up when you activated the turn signal.

    At least that's how mine work.

  17. Took the car to the dealership & long story short, I need a new ECU. They said 8966124312 is the # for the replacement but I would like to know if 89661-24332 (the number of the one on ebay) is compatable. It is also for a 92 sc300 but not sure if that 2nd to last number matters... someone please help so I dont have to shell out a grand for a new ecu.

    i have it saved to my favs!!! long time agoi hope all this info helps everyone else! i really can try anything else till i get a new ecu! i really wish i never got into this car!!!!!!!!! ive spent about 700 bucks on making it look good run good a.c tune up i mean so much cash right after i got it!!!! i havent even put 100miles on it! it drove home frome the guys house that was it! i said let me give it a tune up you know to welcome it too the new home and look how it wants to act! i lalso have a 3rd gen es300 pushing 250k on it and no trouble what so ever in the second owner i got it with 60k almost new i beat the brakes of it a real trooper 140mph on the highway at 3:30 am thats what i call a good lexus its my wifes daily drive it gets miles all in all i realy wish i never got this car as some as its up and running its sold for what ever i can get for it! :angry::angry::angry:

    well i fixed it! its was the ecu that was burned!!!

    then the idel air control valves gasket was bad fixed that too!

    now i have code 13 - RPM signal no. 2 and the car sputters when i drive off and cel is on too! can anyone give any ideas on what to look for??? is rpm signal #2 the coil and if so witch one drives side next to the a.c compresor or not?

    That would be the passenger side. If you remember when you changed that rotor; you had a 2 wire harness coming out the front of the lower rotor cover. That is it. Look for it's connector just above the thermestat housing. Check for broken wire(s).
