Did you guys try this? Did it work? I too have a terrible smell in my 07 IS 250 that I got 3 days ago. My brother in law had to leave the country suddently, I bought his car, can't talk to him to see how long the smell has been there but I suspect they will tell me they didn't ever smell it when I talk to them.
The smell does not smell like mold, it does not smell like rotten eggs or any of the other smells that were described here. It IS very annoying, it DOES give me a headache, it IS worse when the AC is on recirculate. I describe it as a chemically odor. It's as if you have your head in a jar of chemical. That is the only way I can describe.
So, let me know about what you all did and how the smell is now.
