Hi I have a 2003 Lexus SC430. The panel around the auto gearshift doesn't light up, so in the dark I when I switch on the lights the gear stick panel doesn't light up. I'm guessing that I need to change a bulb as this was an intermittent problem before and I could remedy it by smacking the panel, but this no longer works. Does anyone know how to remove the console? I can't see any screws and I don't want to start yanking at the console in case it snaps. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Saj

Hi Guys You have a really good and informative forum, keep up the good work. I am now in the need for replacing my run flat tyres, yes they have worn really badly on the inner edges whereas the middle and outer edge look almost new!!! After having read the various threads on tyres, I'm going to change to normal tyres. Can someone please tell me, in very simple language, what the wheel alignment needs to be set to, caster, camber, toe etc? I need very simple language, because I live in Spain and I've then got to try to explain to the Spanish techi that what I want done is not what his computer is telling him. Best regards Saj

Hi Guys This is a great forum. I recently imported a 2002 model sc430 from the usa to europe. I have a couple of small problems. 1. The radio seems to seek in decimals of 0.2 (95.1, 95.3, 95.7), whereas the radios in europe seek in decimals of 0.05 eg. (95.05, 95.1, 95.15), consequently i cant seek and select many stations. Is this a normal occurence of the sc430? 2. More importantly, my sat nav isn't working. I have removed the north american dvd, numbers 86271-33030, 464210-0186, data 2001, ver.1. Is it possible to just change the dvd for an european one? Or is it more complicated? also i realise that there are several versions of the sat nav, i don't know what generation mine is and also what other types would be compatible.
