Thanks for the thorough step by step directions. I replaced my antenna today without any problems. It took longer than I would have liked because I had to open the motor and remove the broken piece of the nylon antenna extension. I called the Lexus service department and was told that they would have charged me $115 plus tax to make the repair. Needles to say, I feel sooooo good about myself. :D I even had the audacity to lift the engine hood and remove spark plugs. :D THANKS AGAIN
