Thanks, do you know what sort of place I can get the battery tested?

I was hoping one of you could help me. The battery warning light has started coming on. I've been told this means the battery isn't discharging properly, and it could be a problem with the acceleration belt. Is this something I can easily repair? If I go in to get it fixed what price am I looking at? Thanks
