  1. I have finally gotten around to having the other two tires replaced and now all four tires are runflat Dunlop SP Sport 5000M DSST Ctt. All I can say is it is now a great car to drive. I was thinking of getting rid of the car I was so disgusted with how it drove with the Bridgestones, but after taking a 250 trip last week with all four new tires, all I can say is what a huge difference in ride comfort, handling and traction. The car drove great in the rain for 70 miles on the way home, no skidding feeling as before, plus I was able to cruise in the rain at 70+ mph and still feel like I had great traction. I am up to 33,000 miles now on the car. Clayton
  2. I have a 2002 SC430 with 32,000 miles that still has original tires on the rear of the car. The front two tires were replaced by the dealer at no charge due to defects in the tires at 24,000 miles. The biggest issue I have had with the car is that with the original run flat tires traction was terrible in the snow here in Indiana. My Corvette ran better in the snow. If you not in the snow belt, you should be fine. Enjoy the car for what it is, a great crusing car, wonderful with the top down and pretty damn nice with it up.
  3. Does anyone have any experience with Dunlop SP Sport 5000M DSST Ctt as replacement tires for a 2002 SC 430? I had a warranty replacement (free replacement) on two of the original tires and the local Lexus dealer gave me a choice of the Dunlops above or the original equipment. I went ahead and chose the Dunlop since the original tires had been the pits, and it looked like the Dunlops had much better all season tread. Clayton
  4. Has anyone replaced the OEM run flats on a 2002 SC430? I have 23,500 miles on mine, and have found them lacking in the snow the last four weeks here in Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm thinking by this fall they may be ready for replacement. Any thoughts or suggestions on a more all weather tire for this car?
  5. Any details regarding the snow tires for the SC 430? I have just gone through the worst four week of snow here in Indianapolis and will definitely be looking for snow tires for next winter. I have 23,500 miles on the original OEM run flats and they still have a lot of tread left.
