  1. I am not following where you are on this.  The filter is a simple paper filter that you can purchase off of ebay for around $7.  I have never heard of a charcoal filter.  Anyway, moving on to the install.  I don't know what you are talking about with the panels.  You drop the glove compartment with the screw clips holding both ends and the filter housing opening is right there.  Remove the plastic cover and it is a simple install.  It takes all of 3 minutes at a slow pace.

  2. I have a Valentine 1 and I tapped into a hot wire inside the overhead console several years ago.  I just got a dashcam and I am thinking of running the hot wire down one of the A pillars to the fuse box instead of the overhead console, not having a wire diagram of what else I can tap into.  Has anyone done something like this before?  Did you have any problems pulling the A pillar covers off?  I am concerned about messing up the air bags or whatever lurks behind it.

    Any help is appreciated.

  3. Hi. I am looking to buy newer RX350 07-08 and i am researching all options. Does anybody have same year RX350 with cooling seats? Do they exist? Or Lexus only introduced them in 2010 in US. 2007 RX350 made for Dubai has this option as standard. Thanks in advance for any help

P.S. Another thing that would help me a lot if somebody can tell me where cooling for seats turns on, so i can look for these buttons in pictures. I see heating knobs for seats, but cant see any cooling knobs. Are heating knobs good for cooling if you turn them all the way to the left?

No, cooling seats were not an option in the US.

  4. I have a 07 RX350, is there a way to reset the tire pressure light, make it go away. I went to the place I bought the tires and they checked all including the spare and they are now at the correct psi.

Trying to save a trip to the dealership

There is a way to reset described in the manual, but the light should be 'out' if the tires and spare are at the proper psi.

Turn the ignition to the "ON" position and hold in the button (under the steering wheel ) until it blinks 3 times and then the light should go out.
