Help!! I just purchased a 1995 lexus GS300 and later found out that it has a bad AC compressor. When I press the climate control or press the AC button, I hear a hollow humming noise when I'm driving. Later I opened the hood and took a look around the area where the noise is comming from, The clutch on the AC compressor appears to be spinning really slow. When I turn of the AC or Climate off, the noise isn't present. When I pressed the AC or Climate on, I start hearing that hollow humming noise again like a bad bearing. My question is, does anyone know how to replace the AC compressor? If you have instructions, tutorial, links etc...please share. Thanx :(
