Alarm is on all the time

My alarm in my 2002 LS430 won't turn off. The little red light is always blinking, car locked, or unlocked doesn't make any difference. I make sure all doors are shut, lock the doors and the red light is still blinking. I use the remote to disable the alarm and the alarm doesn't go off but the red light still blinks. How do I reset the alarm?
