I have a 98 GS 300 which did not come with the glove compartment mounted CD changer. The dealership wants a cool grand to install a new one which is nuts!!! I have been shopping around to see if there is a company somwehre that sells an aftermarket cable that links the existing stock radio system to an adtermarket CD changer. I do not want to replace the stock system. I just want to add a CD changer without consenting to my only option of going through the dealership to get one. So far every place I have been states that there is no aftermarket cable in existence for the GS 300 stock system CD changer. Is this damn thing hard wired in or what? I am also open to purchasing the stock CD changer that comes with the vehicle from either a wrecked GS 300 or a after market company that sells one. I'll install it my self since the website www.carstereohelp.com has a good walk through on how to replace and install one. Anyone out there......please HELP!!!!!!
