We love our Jan 2003 GX470, even though it does have its few quirks.
One that I haven't read of here yet is the engine hood latch. I recently
opened the hood and the latch fell out. The piece of metal holding it
had snapped. Dealer will repair (entire front grill needs to be replaced)
and they did admit that they've seen a few of these before.
But the reason I'm posting is that my Lexus Link 1st year just ended and
I did not renew the service. I never used it. The "Lexus Link is active"
message was annoying - as others have said - but no where near as
annoying as the new message that states that "Lexis Link is inactive..."
Any suggestions for turning this off??
