  1. I just wanted to make sure my target demographic sees it. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=48549
  2. Excellent! That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much.
  3. I don't own a Lexus and I'm not asking for information about which one to buy. I have an unusual request and I'm hoping someone here has patience and a sense of humor and is willing to help out. I'm looking to replace the seats in the econobox I just got for hauling things and for better mileage. It's a Toyota RAV4. I'm used to the seats in my Mercedes and I find the stock seats in the Toyota to be very uncomfortable. I've ridden in an RX300 before and the seats were much better. I looked and found a pair removed from a wrecked 03 online. My hope is that the seat rails are close enough that it wouldn't take too much to rework them and mount the seats in my RAV4. Since Toyota makes Lexus, it seems that they'd keep some similarities between the two. That's my hope, anyway. What I'd like to ask is if someone knows, or is willing to go out to their garage and find out, what is the distance between the mounting rails on the seats, and what is the total width of the seat pad. On my RAV the rails are 17" apart (center of mounting bolt to center of mounting bolt) and the seat pad is 21" wide. I could probably go with a seat up to 23" wide without any problem. If it looks like these seats might work, I'll go ahead and buy them and have them shipped to me. I just don't want to spend the money if there's no chance of getting them mounted. I could go to a dealership with my measuring tape and find a used RX300, but I don't know how willing a dealership would be, seeing that I have no intention of buying it once I've measured.
