  1. My wife has 10k+ on her ES350 and has also used unleaded since day one. We haven't measured MPG but, in general, octane doesn't affect MPGs. Octane is an anti-[engine]knocking agent. High compression engines (super-charged, turbos, etc...) need high octane gas. Cars towing should use higher octane gas while towing. So, unless you'll be putting high loads on your engine, you'll be fine with 87 gas.
  2. If it really stands out, you can try and get them to re-do it. Can you see the debris from the driver's seat? Take your car to an independent window tint vendor and see what they think.
  3. Me too! I discovered this forum today 'cause my wife couldn't find her car manual and I needed to know how much oil to put into her ES350. I never did find a website with this information, but she eventually found the manual buried in the trunk, so all's well :D . I'm a DIYer but I suspect most Lexus buyers are not.
  4. We didn't get the on-board navigation 'cause we have multiple vehicles and found it more convenient to buy a dashboard model (more affordable too) that we can move from vehicle to vehicle. Anyhow, we don't have a back-up camera yet but want to get one in the near future. My brother had a wireless one and returned it for a wired version. He said the wireless picked up too much interference.
  5. Ditto, lighting inside is for owls. And I find it odd the rear passengers don't have a light switch to themselves. It seems Lexus took a step backwards in this department. My wife drives our ES350; so, there's not much I can do to it. First thing I wanted to do was add wider tires, but the tolerances are so tight in the wheel well, I don't think I can even go to a 225. I'd have to get wheels with an inch extra offset, but then, they may hit the fender. Our organizer in the trunk is a small cardboard box that holds tow strap, battery cables, etc... It works like a charm; the cardboard absorbs all the bumps so we never hear it bouncing about .
  6. if you could read you would see I have an aftermarket wheel with 6 lug nuts. Dude, ES350's have 5 lugs. If you have a 6-lug wheel on it, then someone changed the axle shafts and spindles, a prohibitive cost; either you can't count or you can't see - or both . You may not be able to see the damage done to the discs. Take them to a shop to measure for any deflection and/or out of roundness.
