Are you saying that fuel injection service is not needed at 30K (or any time for that matter), or that it is a rip-off, or what? I am at the Lexus Dealer right now. They just had the nerve to recommend the fuel injection cleaning on my car with 20k miles on it. Unbelievable! He told me it would increase the gas milage!

I suggest you just keep the key in your pocket. In my experience I have had no reason to ever take the key fob out of my pocket unless it is to hand it to the valet. When you leave the driver's seat the car will beep and display key not detected but there are side effects tot his. The car will continue to run, you can unlock the trunk with the button next to the license plate.

I took it in to the dealer last night and had the accesories manager look at the car. He said the debris shouldn't be there and they would replace the driver's side window. I told him there was debris on every window. he told me sometimes that happens and Lexus doesn't have a clean room and they would take care of it. I called this AM and made an appointment and told him I wanted the whole thing redone. I specifically asked him if he could assure me a professional tint job. he said he cannot guarantee that the tinti will 100% dust free. I again asked him to assure me a professional job. he said he couldn't assure me they would do a professional job. I told him I would be dropping off the car next tuesday and expect him to remove the tint and clean the windows as they were when I dropped it off last week, and I expected my $300 back. he said he would refund the money and clean the windows. I need to apologize to the forum for my first post last week in relation to my thoughts on people's negative thoughts on the car. i now realize that this forum allows people to vent their frusterations. I have egg on my face!

I took my car in for Window tint this weekend to the Lexus dealer. They told me the tint won't ully cure for about 6 weeks. There is debris (i.e. fabric, dirt) in between the film and the window. i don't expect the debris to disappear during the curing process. this is the first time i have had tinted windows. Is this to be expected or should i have the dealer look at this situation more closely. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Although I unuderstand the nature of this forum, which has been very helpful in learning new things about my ES350, I am very disappointed with the way people talk negatively about this car. If I would have read these forums before purchasing this car, I would have never bought it. I am thankful that this is not the case because I absolutely love this car and I am enjoying it very much. As I have owned Accords, Integras, Pilots, all new in the past, I never thoroughly enjoyed these cars as much as I enjoy the Lexus. This will be my first posting, as well as my last , (maybe) as I realize reading all these negative comments about a car I enjoy so much is detrimental to my overall outlook of this vehicle. Those of you who take care in keeping this forum fresh and helpful, keep up the good work and your work is appreciated. For all of you who have nothing nice to say, shame on you for spending $40K on a car you don't like, however I have a feeling you will find a way to complain about anything. The only advice I have, take it or leave it...RTFM! IMHO.
