Hey pittsburgh, I just replaced the LCD screen in a 2000 GS300. It took fifteen minutes and the correct part number is cwm4931 from pioneer. It works perfectly. No need to listen to those people at Pioneer. Cheers!!

I have a 2000 GS300 with the same display problem. I never could find out where to purchase a new display but there are a couple of people on ebay that will fix your display for $175.00. That includes shipping. I ended up buying a complete radio on ebay for 168.00 and changed them out. Good luck!!

I'm not a car-techy person, but if you know what I'm am talking about please help. My factory amp is going out and I want to get a new radio. However, no one has the installation kit for it. They keep telling me that they would have to fabricate it to make everything fit.
Can someone please help me on finding a new radio or the spec's or what do I need to do to replace and get a new radio (possibly one that plays MP3s!!)

I'm not sure what pieces I need. I have a 1995 GS300.
Thanks
Cris

I'm new to the forum. Just bought a Black 2000 GS300 two weeks ago with 59,000 miles on it. I haven't found out what the 60,000 mile service will cost. I'll be taken it in and I'll let you know how much it costs. The car is fantastic; however, the radio display is fading. There's a guy in San Diego that will fix it for $175.00. A friend of mine has 90,000 miles on a '98 GS400 with no problems. Good luck with your purchase.

If you have a Lexus radio instead of a Nakamichi, the radio is made by Pioneer and the display on the radio is a problem. I replaced the display on my own radio. It's a 2000 GS300. I ordered it from Pioneer. http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/part.a...ductNum=CWM4931 And the instructions for radio removal are at http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereoremovalLexusGS400str.htm
