  1. If you have a Lexus radio instead of a Nakamichi, the radio is made by Pioneer and the display on the radio is a problem. I replaced the display on my own radio. It's a 2000 GS300. I ordered it from Pioneer. http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/part.a...ductNum=CWM4931 And the instructions for radio removal are at http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereoremovalLexusGS400str.htm
  2. Hey pittsburgh, I just replaced the LCD screen in a 2000 GS300. It took fifteen minutes and the correct part number is cwm4931 from pioneer. It works perfectly. No need to listen to those people at Pioneer. Cheers!!
  3. I have a 2000 GS300 with the same display problem. I never could find out where to purchase a new display but there are a couple of people on ebay that will fix your display for $175.00. That includes shipping. I ended up buying a complete radio on ebay for 168.00 and changed them out. Good luck!!
  4. Chris, check out ebay for a complete installation kit for an aftermarket unit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=38636 Good luck, naterbug69
  5. I'm new to the forum. Just bought a Black 2000 GS300 two weeks ago with 59,000 miles on it. I haven't found out what the 60,000 mile service will cost. I'll be taken it in and I'll let you know how much it costs. The car is fantastic; however, the radio display is fading. There's a guy in San Diego that will fix it for $175.00. A friend of mine has 90,000 miles on a '98 GS400 with no problems. Good luck with your purchase.
