Hi, I have 2004 RX330 and I just bought a new Lexus/Toyota Nav ver 5.1 DVD off ebay. The seller seems legit and have positive responces from others that bought the dvd. Also, the dvd looks genuine. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-Lexu...sspagenameZWDVW I installed the DVD in the trunk and my nav says "unable to read data, check if nav dvd is correct." I tried it multiple times and still the same result. If I reinstall my old 3.1 dvd, it works fine. Finally, when i got the dvd, there were some small fine scratches on the image surface. Could this be causing the problem? Did I get screwed with a fake? Is my 2004 rx330 not upgradable to ver 5.1? This has been very frustrating. :cries: Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My RX330 windshield got a large crack from a rock. I called Lexus to have it replaced and they gave me the contact of their subcontractor who does their windshield installments. The subcontractor claims he can sell me a windshield that is exact the same as the Lexus brand, just without the logo, for much cheaper. He states that there is no difference between the non logo and lexus brand windshield. Is there any truth to this? Is it safe to buy the non logo windshield? Thanks for any input.

trpl7, sounds like a good mod. I'm interested in doing this too, hopefully with dvd play back. Where did u buy the tv module? Is installation fairly easy? Thanks

Please help. I'm in the market for a new SUV and like the RX330 a lot. However, after reading about the various issues with the '04 model (road noise, shift hesitation) I'm becoming more hesitant. Does anyone know when the '05 models will be available? I'm not in a great hurry but it'd be nice to have a new car by early summer. Should I wait for the '05 rx330? Thanks in advance
