  1. After a complete drain of the battery, practically nothing's working in the dash and the cabin. (Please see my previous post). I apologize for the lack of continuity but, I'm still trying to figure out this board/posting thing ... I've been told the cure for my 1998 ES300's troubles is the replacement of the main Integration Relay (or Module). Maybe it's a 130A fuse? It's supposed to be under the dash or the fuse panel, on the driver's side. The relay supposedly controls the dash lights and displays, a/c and radio, power windows, remote unlock and most importantly, the shifter release, all of which are not working. There are quite a few relays and/or fuses in that area and I can't tell which is which (hard to read). The Owner's Manual does not show its location at all. Also, I tried removing one or two of the relays but they don't come off as easily as fuses, and some firm but careful pulling did not budge them. Does anyone know the exact location of the relay/module and the correct way to remove it? Thank you.
  2. Ive checked all related fuses and replaced a couple that were bad; but that didn't solve the problem. Unplugging the battery sounds like a good idea. I'll try that tonight and post the (hopefully successful) results. Thank you all so much for the replies and suggestions.
  3. Hello everyone. I'm new to this club and forum and this is my first post. I own a 1998 ES300 (since new) with currently just over 30K. Obviously, I don't drive it much and it stays in the garage most of the time. I run it regularly to get things to flow and the battery to charge. However, after a long 2+ month vacation over the summer, the battery died completely. I managed to have it recharged (trickle charge) at the local auto parts store, where it checked out OK, with good voltage and no dead cells. Unfortunately, during the removal and replacement process, the alarm went off a few times. Now, the car starts OK and the battery seems to have plenty of power but: [*]None of the dash, radio, auto A/C, etc. equipment and respective digital displays/gauges and lights work. [*]Power windows and locks do not work. [*]Remote lock/unlock/alarm does not work. [*]Shifter will not disengage from Park unless I override it mechanically with the console mounted button. [*]Who knows what else doesn't work ... I've read on the Internet that this may be due to the triggering of the alarm and the computer going into "theft mode" or maybe because of the computer losing power for too long and needing to be reset. Does anyone have any idea what may have happened and how to address this problem? Is this something I could do on my own somehow, or I'm I stuck with a trip to the dealer or, worse yet, to my "friendly" local (rip-off) Japanese auto care "expert"? Any information will help. Thank you.
