i always turn the gas cap until it clicks a good 5 times.. . i checked the hoses for the evap thing thats attached to the filter box and seemed to be in place and tight. the engine light came on again and i wrote exactly what it said this time: PO446: Evaporative Emission System vent Control Circuit ???anyone see or had that before???

i had a similar problem and i had to change the oxygen sensor. you should check what the code is for the engine light.. . that would give you a better idea.

I have a 2003 IS 300 5 speed and everytime i fuel up i cannot start the car first try, always on the second or sometimes the third. And once in awhile the check engine comes on and the "Trac Off" blinks until i hook up the obd reader and erase the engine light. The code that the obd reader says is PO 440, 441 Incorrect evap flow or something like that. Would anybody have a clue what this would be the cause from? Alex
