2001 ES 3000, 75,000miles, silver
Puchased 2005 for $19,000 with 54,000 miles, off lease
Had 60,000 service at Toyota dealer, brakes
Just had timing belt/ water pump replaced, 75,000 service, $800 at Toyota dealer
Car runs great. Amazingly smooth. No problems at all yet.

I appreciate your comment. I'll get it done.

I have a 2001 ES300 with 75,000 miles. According to the manual the timing belt should be changed at
90,000 miles or a 72 months. Clearly, the 72 months are up but I have never before heard of changing
a timing belt based on a time period? Should I change it and the water pump at this time?
Thanks.
80.000 Mile Service

According to the service manual there is very little that has to be done at 80K (I think just oil change and AC filter).
But there is a bunch of stuff to be checked.
I'm used to taking a car into the dealer every 10,000 miles but I'm really wondering if this is necessary with a
2001 Lexus.
Should I just get the oil changed and ignore the 80,000 dealer service?
Thanks for advice.
