Looking at a new 2008 and am considering the options for the Rear DVD System. At first was interested in the ceiling mounted option, but am being told it pratically eliminates the view from the rear view mirror when the screen is down. Does anyone out there have the ceiling mounted DVD system and can you comment on positives/negatives of the system. Ay pictures you may have would also be helpful as not many dealers have these installed already so you can actually see the view from the front seat. Thanks!

I compared cars for 9 months before deciding on the RX350. Last two in the running were the Acura MDX and the Lexus. In our case for a family of three (one still in a carseat), the Lexus was great, however, if you are having more than one child, you might want to consider something a little larger like the MDX. I've had many families tell me that once they added the second child, the Lexus didn't feel big enough for them. One other determining factor for me was the ride of the Lexus. It was much easier to drive. Smoother feel, less work. The Acura has a much more "sportier" drive but it still road wonderfully. It's all dependent upon what you're looking for. If my husband was going to be driving this car, he'd of gotten the Acura. With me driving, the Lexus ride won.

GDixon - is this an OEM Toyota/Lexus product. I've been trying to find a picture of a factory installed hitch for the RX350 and have been unsuccessful. I am really interested in how the hitch fits around the tail pipe. Any comments?
