  1. In case anyone is interested... We have information from LEXUS UK HQ Technical division - that it may be possible to do by removing the solenoids involved in activating the gears that are not required. - Disadvantage is that the ECU may detect this and go into 'limp home mode' - which would not help at all Thanks for looking :D Mick
  2. Yup PTO turns - No drive to front wheels at all. On the Discovery there is a spigot that can be turned to activate CDL. We were hoping to find the same or something similar on the RX. - Very nice vehicle by the way - never been in one before :D Anyway we now have 'official confirmation' from Lexus Technical HQ that these vehicles should not be run on a 2WD dyno - so I guess we are stuffed in that respect! Trying to do tailpipe noise measurements for a benchmarking programme Anyway thanks for taking the time to reply Mick :D
  3. IF we manage to get this vehicle running on the rolloing road we could also do with keeping it in gear if possible. Is there any over-ride for the auto-box? We need ideally full throttle from tickover all the way to the red-line without jumping gears all over the place :whistles: If anybody can help I'll buy you a virtual beer Thanks for looking Mick
  4. Does anyone one know if we can run an RX300 on a front wheel drive chassis dyno? We have disconnected the rear prop shaft and there is no drive at all. The manual is not much help to discover if there is any centre diff lock or front wheel drive only mode. I am not very familiar with these vehicles. Any advice much appreciated Cheers Mick
