  1. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? This is my first Lexus, but I've had GPS in my cars since they first came out. With my other cars, whenever the guidance system has something to say (directions) it automatically dims the radio so that the guidance is audioble. While my lexus does that to an extent, it does not seem to lower th eradio sound enough and I end up not being able to hear th eguidance. Also, is there a way to set the guidance to continue to give voice directions while in phone mode? Thanks so m uch.
  2. I just bought my LS400L last week. The dealer told me that because I have Verizon phone service I would have to go to Verizon for them to transfer by phonebook info into the car's phonebook. He said that because of verizon's bluetooth security the transfer feature is disabled. I went to Verizon and they said they have no idea how to transfer. I looked at the Lexus website for compatible phones by carier and noticed that the phone I had (Motorola E815) WAS compatible BUT not the phonebook transfer feature. I searched for other caompatible phones and and found that the LG VX8300 was compatible for phonebook transfer, so i went out and bought it (at full price because I was within contract period). Problem: same thing is happening... The second I tough "Transfer Phonebook" on my Lexus screen, my phone says "Bluetooth Disconnected" and nothing happens. Any ideas???? Also... any way to bypass this crazy motion lockout for the nav??? Thanks.
