I give..... uncle. As we used to say on the school ground. After changing the Throttle position sensor,Mass flow, sensor, fuel filter, air filter, engine ECM the car WILL NOT accelerate. Runs and drives beautifully around town and on the highway but has no get up and go. No check engine lite no codes, I am done. first $2000 takes it. No check engine lite.

After removing the exhaust system and checking flow, replacing the Mass Flow Sensor,Throttle Position Sensor and the engine ECM my 92 ls 400 will not accelerate or go up a hill faster than 25 mph. It will drive perfectly and attain freeway speeds but at a glacial pace. New plug wires, battery and air cleaner. Could it be the crank angle sensor? ( I'm running out of things to replace)

a couple things come to mind. air filter, fuel filter, injector cleaner and maybe fuel pressure regulator. those are the items i would look into first thanks for the reply, New air filter, this is an all of the sudden malfunction so doubt it falls into a normal service issue. I like the sugestion of FPR I'll check that but I fear something more evil (and expensive)

My 92 LS starts up and runs smooth and idles perfectly, but it has no acceleration power and wont go much over 70 MPH. No check engine lite or obvious malfunctions under the hood. I heard weak battery can affect performance so tried a new one and no improvement. I also checked exhaust flow and all good there. HELP! KC
