  1. Hello,

I was doing a tire rotation on my 2002 GS300 (160K miles) and noticed that rear wheels have vertical play in them (grabbing the wheel on top and bottom and shaking it). After conducting further investigation I discovered that the play is generated by rear axle carrier bushings (on both wheels) responsible for camber adjustment (please see picture). I have looked all over the net but couldn’t find a replacement kit for these bushings the only once that I could find were for rear axle carrier trailing arm I believe. This camber adjustment bushing is not like the other once from what I can tell it has a more complex design from what it looks like involving dual shafts which are located one inside another. Anyway I was wondering if anyone can advice me on what to do as far as changing these and eliminating vertical play in my rear wheels (buying an axle carrier is my last option). THNAKS!

    Good luck.

  2. Check your rotors....do they look scratched by the calipers? If so...time to change both pad and rotors ASAP!! I upgraded mines to drilled rotors and PBX ceramic pads....clean...not much brake dust....but the drilled rotors do make noise (like a fan turbine) at lower speeds when the window is down.

  3. I'd say dead weight unless your driving like you're on a racetrack. The kids seem to love them. They pair well with the 99% black tint and the fake HID headlights.

I currently running the Carson front STB...(previously owned the RMM and DSR ones)....I feel the difference when I rip the turns (no braking):D in my neighborhood. Front end is very tight...very little body frame flex...of course I got the TOMS front and rear LCB, TOMS 6-links, and TSA rear STB too. ;)

  4. Hi ,

I have 2000 GS 300 and trying to replace my OEM wheels to Sport Max 941 (17X07 5X100/5X4.5 GM ST) and with Hankook H405 (TIRE 225-50-17 HR) Low profiles. Actaully My whell size is 16" is it ok to replace with 17" or 18" ? will it cause any obstruction while turning the wheels?

No problems with the 17s....however, you may consider adding spacers to push the wheels out a bit....so its a near flush to the fenders.
