Does anyone know how to reprogram a key, i changed my battery and now my car wont start!! please help!!!!

Hey guys, so my remote battery dies and i get a new battery, pop it in all doors and and trunk open no problems, i put in the key to start and it wont start!!! WTF DO I DO?!? haha i need my car! do i have to get the key reprogrammed at the dealer or what? make matters worse that was my only key
