Thanks skperformance, I am about 7k deliquent in having the 60k service done. I'll have them check that out. That leads me to another question. Would you be concerned with having a non-Lexus shop perform this service? A friend has a '96 LS and had a local garage perfoem his for around 300.00 vs 950.00 from the dealer. He seems to have had good luck. I'm just a little skeptical though. What are your thoughts? Norm

It's fixed! Apparently it was excessively flooded. I let it sit for a day and it started right up with an incredible amount of white colored exhaust. Thank you for your help.

First post. i have a 98 GS, 66,000 miles. detailed it Sunday afternoon. pulled it into the garage sunday night. Monday am it will not start. tunrs over but nothing. I'm obviously not a mechanic but don't want to pay big bucks either to the dealer to come get it when it could be something simple. any clues? thanks,
